Welcome to Schools Lab

Welcome to Schools Lab

This business was set up over twelve years ago. At that time I was a teacher of physics and had become frustrated with the lack of equipment dedicated for the “Five to Fourteen” programme – so I made my own.

Many of the products are therefore unique in that they are directed at specific areas of the curriculum and are unlikely to be available elsewhere.

With the advent of the “Curriculum for Excellence” we intend to continue with this strategy and hope to extend our product range.

The buzzer is a 1.5V solid state buzzer and so polarity is important. It can be worked over the range 1.0 – 2.0 V and as such can be run off a 1.5V cell. It is therefore ideal for the primary schools where low voltage power packs may not be available.
