Two linked tracks, the slopes of which can be independently varied over a wide range by use of the support bars. The pulley wheel support – bracket is an integral part of the hinge so only one clamp is required to support the equipment on the stand.

Using the mounted solar cell and the mounted lamp holder with a 24 or 36W lamp gives a neat setup for investigating the output of a solar cell. The area exposed. the angle and the distance from the source can all be investigated. It is of course best carried out in a darkened room.
