The buzzer is a 1.5V solid state buzzer and so polarity is important. It can be worked over the range 1.0 – 2.0 V and as such can be run off a 1.5V cell. It is therefore ideal for the primary schools where low voltage power packs may not be available.

The motor is a 1.5V medium torque motor which can be worked over the range 1.0 – 6.0 V and as such can be run off a 1.5V cell. It is therefore ideal for the primary schools where low voltage power packs may not be available.
